Ah, the brash, neurotic, redheaded (literally, in this case) stepchild of the frenemy community. You know, the quasi-friend who doesn’t hide her disdain for how much more well liked and much better looking you are than she. Ever have one of those? If you haven’t, I think you should, especially if you’re sweeter than sweet, like Susan (Brooke Shields). Because everyone needs a friend who can get your goat from time to time, who is outright mean to you every so often and who will say things that will leave you speechless.

Although you (and she) may question your friendship status, you come you understand that she’s just as vulnerable as you are, but hides it behind that big mouth of hers. And after a few heart-to-heart talks and some stupid antics, you realize that, in fact, you really are friends—and that she’s someone who balances your shit out.
