Born, raised, and forever Minnesotan. I’m highly sensitive, fiercely opinionated, but a motherfucking empath. I’m a DINKWAD: “Double income, no kids with a dog.” I didn’t come up with that stupidity, so don’t sue me. However, we have two dogs: Simon and Manny. But my heart is my first dog, Gus. My soul dog. I recently hit a milestone birthday, and it’s one that I’m having a really difficult time processing. So, this is where the blog comes in. By sharing my insanity (stories, dreams, crushes, musings), I’m hoping to find/build a community, a tribe. Because we all want to be part of one, don’t we? Even if we say we don’t. So, this is for those of us who are wrestling with 60. No, fuck that. This is for anyone of any age who has moments (whether days or years) of existential crisis. I just want to know I’m not alone, we’re not alone. Let’s share our experiences—good, bad, painful, wonderful, embarrassing, hilarious.
