Oh, you know you wish you had a wealthy, eccentric, flamboyant, free-spirited, lively, socialite aunt who’s great with the one-liners and with whom your adventures would be nothing short of madcap. She’d also steer you clear of conventionality, teach you a thing or two about fashion and how to look glamorous using a cigarette holder.

Although she knew nothing about being a parent, she and her nephew immediately made a connection and he helped her eventually, and wonderfully, learn how to be nurturing. See? You can be kooky and maternal!

I wholeheartedly adore this aunt.
