Sangria (Carlo Rossi)

Sangria (Carlo Rossi)

Although the purchasing of cheap, trashy alcohol is usually a joke, it appears the joke is now on me. Never did I expect that I’d become addicted to this big ass jug, of not even remotely tasting, sangria.

According to THE Carlo Rossi himself, his sangria is “a fun, social wine that is perfect for parties…serve it at your barbecues or enchilada get-togethers. Come to think of it, this wine should be on every party’s invite list.” Damn right, Carlo! May I call you Carlo? However, what is an “enchilada get-together”? Though, whenever Sean and I have Chipotle—which is also “Mexican food”—our trusty vat of sangria joins us, too...

So, go ahead, judge me—snobs. But I challenge you to a Carlo Rossi sangria taste test. You’ll see. Behold, and never underestimate, the drawing power of cut-rate sangria in the convenient, economy size bottle.
